Wow! Our kids have been busy. Presentations covered chocolate, water, ball bearings, density. bouyancy, heat transfer, absorbancy, worms, plants, lemons, taste tests, athletic skills--you name it we had a project on it. It was evident that a lot of thought went into some projects and others were done last minute. Remember "never put off til tomorrow what you can do today". If your student had a low science grade on their progress report it is related to having an incomplete project on Tuesday.
Students presented their projects in class today and received 'constructive criticism' from classmates and teachers. We are now ready to tweak them for a final grade and be at our best for the SCIENCE FAIR on May 14. Plan on coming to school that evening to see who wins school wide and view all projects.
