Coke Floats, Pizza, American Grandstand, and the Last Week of School

Wow ! It is finally here. The last week of school. What does that look and feel like? Well for our 5th graders, it will be full of great memories and activities. This week will be over before you know and you will be on your way to middle school. You should feel proud that you have accomplished the first part of your school training.. many of you will take-off in middle and high school. What makes us happy is when we see you become freshmen in college! That is a BIG deal!!! So, start thinking, because you will need to build and reinforce your study habits these next few years! 9th grade will be here before you know it!
Last week was very busy with American Grandstand! We did quite a few shows to fit everyone in, and the parent show Thursday night was a huge success! I know many of you are still singing those songs!
Friday we celebrated the end of Jr. Achievement with Coke Floats and Pizza. We sure enjoyed Mr. Pritchard! He really helped you guys understand business. My favorite activity was the last activity involving he string! What great fun that was!
This week will be busy as ever as well! Make sure you check the side bar to see all the activities. Remember Thursday is the trip to Wild Adventures- and remember the talk about not buying all those USELESS souvenirs! Just money for lunch- probably $25.00 for the day is plenty and don't forget your water bottle! Water is the best beverage for you on a hot day!
Our class party is Tuesday, so you will not need to bring your lunch that day! We will have our 5th grade picnic on Wednesday, so you will not need a lunch that day either!
