I Went to A Garden Party and All My Friends Were....

There! Man, did we ever have a rockin' week last week! The kids were just absolutely CRAZY all week in anticipation of the 5th grade dance... top that with Science Fair Presentations, Teacher Appreciation Week, Sights and Sounds and Flag Salute and I will say again that we had a really over the top week! Many of our students came out and had a blast at our end-of-the-year 5th grade dance! The kids danced for 3 hours! It was a blast! Dalton is getting a really good tan, Mrs. Rowan may have to visit his pool this weekend!

We had a grand 'ol time at our Garden Party! We are telling you the truth when we tell you Beauclerc has the absolutely best PTA in the WORLD! (In fact, they are sooo good, other schools call them for advice!) Every year they transform the multi-purpose room and make us feel like we are having lunch out! It is just awesomely amazing!

Yes... this was my favorite part.... the chocolate fountain! Something about dipping everything in chocolate!

We have so many wonderful volunteers that come together on this day and just amaze us with their talents!

Julie is the BEST ! She and her awesomely amazing PTA have done so much for us this year!

Mrs. Starke is always there to help! She is wonderful!

These two.... hmmm... the best cooks around, and both so skinny! How do they do it? Year after year they provide us with great food! We want them to stay with us forever!

And believe it or not... we are back at it this week! We are really enjoying our containers and cubes unit! I am not sure if they like building boxes or cubes better! Either way we are really learning about volume!

In Social Studies we are working very hard to have our presentations ready for our big International Pot Luck Dinner on the 21st! Your students should have brought information home on that today-- just let us know what you are bringing!

Students spent a little time writing in their planners this morning, we have a lot of events to cover in the next 18 1/2 days... Remember that this Thursday is Science Fair ! I can't wait to see all the great projects! This is really going to be a night to come out and support your student!
