Does it seem like a blur to you???? Wow! Time is not standing still, and in fact racing by! We do have a few deadlines fast approaching...
1. Student picture orders are due Friday. Late orders will require an additional fee for postage.
2. Fifth Grade Growth and Development Lesson Plan Permission Slips are due! These forms must be returned regardless if you check yes OR no.
3. Pot Luck Dish - Item your student is bringing is due Friday.
We are very busy practicing our 3 dances for American Grandstand. The kids are having a great time! They are responsible for choreographing the last minute of each song! That might not sound like a lot, but BELIEVE me when I say... that is quite a few eight counts for them to figure out! It teaches them a lot about beats and rhythm and some of them have never thought about songs this way... As a dancer, I always "count" the beats first, and then after I learn the count, I listen for the words! It is an interesting way to think about music!
Our Science Fair Projects turned out really GREAT! We are going to self-assess ourselves today. This should be fun! Be sure to ask your student how they think they did!
Remember Thursday is the night that you can come and view all of Beauclerc's projects from 6:30 - 7:30. That is also the night of the Boy Scout Round-UP!
As you can see, we are NOT slowing down as we enter into the 7th inning stretch (for all you baseball fans) ! Hang on... we still have 16 1/2 days left!
