Our class worked on group presentations about different countries during classtime for the past few weeks. We learned a lot; not just about geography and cultures, but about audience manners, how to use (or not use) time wisely and how to collaborate with team members. Mrs. Rowan and Mrs. Yadon expected one outcome and experienced another as this task came to completion--It reminds me of Sam and his planning for the Halloween party in My Side of the Mountain--he planned a nice party but . . . . . . .
