Technically speaking, that means we only have 80 days left in our 5th grade school year! That is not a lot of time when you think about all the learning that is yet to come! Not to mention a few holidays and Spring Break!
This month we will add another genre to our Reading Learning Unit. It is caused "Test Taking Strategies". We know our students are smart - it is evident in their daily work. However, we want to make sure they understand the language and logic of standardized tests. It will be important that they are at school everyday!
Our testing schedule is as follows:
Tuesday - March 10th - FCAT Math - Session 1
Wednesday - March 11th - FCAT Math - Session 2
Thursday - March 12th - FCAT Reading - Session 1 & 2
Friday - March 13th - Make-up Testing
Monday - March 16th - FCAT Science - Session 1
Tuesday - March 17th - FCAT Science - Session 2
We will start posting testing tips to help you help your student at home!
