Cat Cards, Silent Reading, and Chicken Dinners

This morning after Art and Music we started working with our cat cards again. If you haven't seen the cat cards yet... are you missing out! There is all kind of neat information about the cats, I especially like the cat named Lady Jane Gray! To gather our information we worked in groups, and then each group created a graph that displayed their information.
Mario and Seven busy at work!
Cinnamon sorts data, why Diaje' records! Great teamwork!

Another group uses the small white board to log their data! Way to go girls!

We all took turns at working with the group! We have no group HOGS!!!!!
After recess we practiced reading quietly.... something we rarely do!
Parents... see these goldenrod papers? They are for you to order your chicken dinners for the school carnival at the end of April. This will be the only food sold, so make sure you order a dinner. Our patrols will be working this event, along with many of the 5th grade teachers and PARENTS... If you would like to volunteer, please let us know! We will need parents for the 5th grade booth.
Another great day in Room 138. We counted today, and it looks like we only have 41 days of school left. Where has the time gone? Oh my, are you ready to be a 6th grader?
Tonight is another big night of basketball..... Don't forget to cheer for the BIG RED - GO Cards!
Mrs. Rowan will be at the University of Tennessee at the end of the week---- stay tuned for some amazing shots!
