A Bloggy Break?- NOT! Just a lot of Fun Going ON!

Well, we have been absent a few days in the Blogger world! What have we been up to you ask? Well like our beloved Principal, Mrs. Kornblum, we have been sliding downhill fast just trying to hang on! Mrs. Rowan finished school on April 19th, and is waiting for her dissertation to move through IRB. There have been at least a million things going on! For starters we are at the end of the year.. and it gets a little crazy! Then throw in new patrol selection, current patrol act ivies, a carnival, American Grandstand, and other random activities and you have had 2 very busy teachers! Just when we thought we might have a normal day, Mrs. Yadon took off to the symphony with the chorus and Orf members for some spectacular music! The rest of us took rotations on the computers, worked on healthy posters, and had some sustained silent reading! Whew! Has it ever been busy! (Not to mention Patrol Appreciation Day last Saturday in which eleven of our patrols placed 2nd overall in the competition! We rocked it out!) Oh Yeah!
Enjoy some pictures from Friday, and I will try to catch up our Saturday and Monday pictures Tuesday!
Mrs. Kornblum kicks off the start of our carnival! The other side of this is a ROCK CLIMBING WALL! Yes she did it!
It was great to see the size of the mounted unites! Unbelievable! And that is our very own Jessica Smith (from Southside Business Men's Club) who organized all the police and fire displays! Bo and Thelma (JSO Bloodhounds) came out to enjoy the festivities!
A huge thanks to PTA for paying for the inflatables and for Patrols for assisting with them! Everyone was safe and had a blast!

It was a great time at the carnival with all the FREE games hosted by the different grade levels and teachers!

Mr. and Mrs. Ramaman enjoy a FREE night out! (Yes, that is an egg crate on her head!)

Stewie arrives for an afternoon of fun! His parents were not too far behind!

Briley and Angel enjoy some face painting! Thanks Ms. Robinson and Mrs. Schmidt

Boris enjoying a FREE snowcone and playing a FREE game. (Something about finding a worm in the ground... not being able to use your hands! Great game, Great FUN!

The cake walk was a HIT I tell YOU!!! We had well over 100 items donated and the kids kept coming! It was great! Thanks to our great parents and staff at Beauclerc! You guys just rocked it out BIG TIME!

Mrs. Fleming and Mr. Underkofler "slopping slaw and beans"

Believe it or not, it was after 7:00 in this picture! Can you believe it??? The sun was still shining on our grand 'ol time!

Oh my have we had a grand time lately! It has been crazy busy and hectic in Room 138. This time of the year in 5th grade goes by so fast! With just 28 days left in the school year it is hard to remember what we did 5 minutes ago! We have had many special activities going on in and around the school, so both of us have been extremely busy!
I think we are finally back on KILTER! Hang-on it is bound to be a thrilling finish in 5th grade!
